Nokia 6500 Slide Black – Black Beauty
With the 6500 Slide, Nokia came up with a top-class mobile phone that had capabilities only bettered by smartphones and the advanced N-series. The only gripe that some made was that the silver materials used in the design made the phone feel (and look) very cold and a little ‘unwelcoming’ in its appearance.
Now the 6500 Slide Black has been released and this does go some way to rectifying the issue. With a new all-over Black design, this version definitely looks the part much more than its predecessor.
The only appendages that aren’t black are the Nokia logo underneath the screen, the call & end call buttons (green and red respectively) and the outline of the D-pad which is a grey-silver hybrid.
So far as I can see, one of the main benefits of this colour upgrade is with regards to fingerprints, which did appear consistently on the silver 6500 Slide, but the Black version seems to be even less susceptible than its predecessor. I thought that fingerprints were barely visible and considering how prominent this issue has been lately, is a real plus point.
With the aforementioned exceptions, the 6500 Slide still possess the same functionality. This still means you get the great 3.2MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics; great display; video calls & 3G internet capabilities and the Symbian user interface.
Obviously the Nokia 6500 Slide Black is no great innovation, but it does offer an alternative to the cold, clinical feel of the silver version, and the features still make it a credible option for all but the most demanding user.

Frequently Asked Questions...
is it appropriate to refer to people as black in an essay?
I am writing a paper on diversity in the work place. I found a source on Proquest and it refers to people as black/blacks and white/whites for instance "whites are hesitant to___" that doesn't seem professional or appropriate for a scholarly essay...I don't really want to use those terms in mine and risk sounding racist. Should I say African American and Caucasian?
Answer:
Use Black and White just capitalize them when you're referring to the groups of people.
I went online and it seems African American is more acceptable but I don't think it matters
"If you aren't sure about which term is appropriate, it is probably safest to use “African American,” because most people understand that people are trying to be respectful when they use this term."
