Frequently Asked Questions...
Is there a fine line between being a little edgy, controversial and being mean-spirited?
I think so. And do you often cross that line?
Answer:
Of coarse. There's a bit of gray area when you push the limits. Sometimes it's because you're with a strict person, or you just outright cross the line.
I think this happens a lot in debate. It becomes unprofessional and rude sometimes. Crossing the line is when you start bringing strong opinions into a factual circumstance.
I try not to. If someone is bothering me, I say "You're in my personal space" as opposed to "Get lost, creeper".

Why We Get Age Spots and Fine Lines
The reason why we get age spots, those brown spots and fine lines are one and the same cause. This article will help you identify what may be causing your brown age spots and fine lines, if you have them. If you don't, this may help in preventing their appearance.
First let's look at the cause of the problem and then look at How to Prevent Age Spots & Reduce Fine Lines
A few of the fine lines, especially those on your cheeks, chin and forehead may be due to the position that you sleep in. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, sleeping on your side or stomach night after night can lead to compression wrinkles.
When you are young, those wrinkles disappear relatively quickly. As you get older, they can become permanent fixtures. But, there's an underlying reason for that.
**Why Wrinkles Appear & Want to Stay
The amount of free radical molecules in older skin is higher, while the amount of naturally occurring antioxidants is lower. That's also according to the AAD. They say this imbalance is the underlying cause of all of the outward signs of aging.
Free radical damage is the underlying cause of skin spots. Different things can trigger increased production or activity of free radicals. The most common culprits are UV rays from the sun and cigarette smoke.
**Cheap Cosmetics May Cause Skin Problems
There is some evidence that common ingredients in cosmetics may cause or contribute to free radical damage. Those ingredients include petroleum-based alcohols, toxins, allergens and irritants. This is the reason that experts have begun to recommend safer cosmetics containing all natural ingredients.
In addition to the things that cause increased free radical activity and production, there are things that contribute to a lack of naturally occurring antioxidants. When the level of antioxidants in the skin is high, they will neutralize free radicals before they can do any damage.
If neutralizing antioxidants are not present, free radicals can damage cells, fibers and eventually DNA strands. Not only does this damage cause fine lines and age spots, it can also cause DNA mutations that lead to cancer cell formation.
What causes the antioxidant level to fall? Getting older has something to do with it according to dermatologists. But, it is possible to fight the aging process every step of the way.
**Fruits & Vegetables - How Many Times Have We Been Told?
One common problem that causes low levels of antioxidants is a lack of fruits and vegetables in the diet. Another problem…research has shown that our vegetables are not as nutritious as they once were due to over-farming and depletion of nutrients from the soil.
All of those things mentioned above that cause increased production and activity of free radicals will also cause decreased levels of antioxidants. It takes one antioxidant molecule to neutralize one free radical molecule.
So, constant exposure to any of those things could quickly cause depletion of the skin's antioxidants, which in turn would allow free radicals to cause damage that leads to fine lines and age spots, which are also known as senile freckles.
**Sun Exposure
It is safe to say that the sun is involved in most cases of senile freckles and skin spots because they are composed of melanin clumps. Melanin production is triggered by UV exposure.
It is likely that the melanin-producing cells have been damaged over the years by free radicals. Instead of producing normal amounts of the pigment, they produce too much.
Now, you know that most fine lines and age spots are caused by free radical damage. What do you do about it? That's the subject of another article.
