Interior Painting simple cheklist for success @shearerpainting
With craeful and deliberate planning you can aviod lots of wasted time. Considering how much improvement a new coat of paint makes to a room, the effort is certainly worthwhile. First assemble in the center of the room to be made over all the materials you will be using. These would include all the items you will use to apply the paint, all the coverings used to protect against drips and spills, all the tools and substances used in clean up, and the masking to stick onto borders and decorative surfaces.
If it is an option remove the furniture outside of the romm in question. Whatever is still left should be placed in the center of the room and covered with drop cloths that are taped to the bottom of the furniture. A second drop cloth should be loosely placed atop furniture. Drop cloths must also be taped along the edges of the floor to keep paint off the finish.
Wear clothing that is comfortable and that you don't care about getting drips on. Hair covering is a must. Wear a cap or some other form of protection. To prevent tracking paint through the house, slip on shoes are a good idea. Alternately, a spare pair of shoes placed in doorways can remind you to take off your paint splattered shoes.
Tape should cover any decorative surface that can not be removed such as cabinet handles. Windows, doors, and electrical outlets should also be taped. The light fixtures on walls and ceilings should be covered with plastic bags taped in place. Cracks and holes in the wall should be patched.
When dark surfaces are covered with lighter ones, a coat of primer should first be applied. Glossy finishes also require primer to make the paint stick. Flat finishes if light in color just need to be spot primed in areas that were repaired.
Starting with the ceiling, select an area around six feet to a side and cover it with W shaped strokes. Go first right to left and then back again left to right. When two squares are done this way, go back over them using straight strokes on a diagonal. This will blend the paint evenly over the surface. The same process is used across the entire ceiling, but the last inch or so along the borders will have to be done later with a brush.
The walls are done the same way. Where ceiling and walls intersect, unpainted surfaces are dabbed in with a brush. The ceiling should be brushed in before starting on the walls if the two are of different colors. In this case, wait until the ceiling paint has thoroughly dried before taping the perimeter to make sure no wall paint gets on it.
The last surfaces to be covered in interior painting are the baseboards and molding. They are done with a brush. Check to see if a second coat is needed after the paint dries. Consult the information on the can to see if there is a recommendation in this regard. Some spots may require touch up. Remove any spots on windows with a razor blade. During clean up, most drips can be rubbed out with rags and paint remover.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Can you spray paint the thumb sticks on an Xbox 360 controller?
i would like to know if this is possible and what kind of spray paint to use? please give me an honest answer if you know
Answer:
Well you can, it's physically possible.
However, if you do this, you are a fool. I highly doubt your controller will be of any use as anything other than a pretty object in the corner of the room after you've done so.
